Book Group
Begins Again October 2026
Whether we are reading fiction or nonfiction, the discussions are illuminating. We are a collaborative group with everyone sharing ideas and reactions. We all gain new perspectives on the book of the month and on the wider world. We also connect more deeply with one another. We invite anyone who enjoys reading and talking about books to consider joining us. Here are some of the upcoming books.
Book Group is usually held on the first Thursday of the month at 10:30am in person and on UUCC's Zoom. The book group will resume again the first Thursday in October.
Stay Tuned for the next list of books!
Kinship Yoga
Kinship Yoga has been offered at UUCC since 2016. Yoga is an ancient practice that links movement with breath and intention. Each class includes effort and ease, strength and flexibility, balance and stability. And each class includes seated poses, reclined poses, and standing poses.
Yoga is held weekly on Tuesdays at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary.

Small Group Ministry
Small Group Ministry encourages people to explore their faith and share their spiritual journeys with each other.

On Summer Break
until Sept. 8th
Tuesday's at 10:30am
On UUCC's Zoom
The group invites you to join divine reading and lived experience through a practice called Lectio Divina. Lectio Divina originated as a monastic practice of scripture reading, meditation, prayer and action. The group utilizes various authors and scripture as our written word for reflection. Please feel free to join as you can. All are welcome. Zoom link is found in UUCC's eblast (link to eblast at the bottom of the homepage).
I look forward to Lectio Divina every week because it is a lovely practice that invites meaningful connection, deep thinking, and deep feeling. ~ Martha P.
