Come and join in an evening of community, music and dancing at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church! We will experience French Folk Dancing with Le Bon Truc Trio who joined together twelve years ago to play traditional French dance and folk music from Bretagne, Alsace, Auvergne, and other places. The band is Steve Gruverman, clarinets, sax, and flute; Barb Truex, dulcimer, banjo, and tenor guitar; and Gary Chapin, accordions. Over the decade, they’ve played on street corners, in cafes, at dance festivals, in barns, in an orchard, and in a surprising number of churches. Our goal is to bring a little bit of uncomplicated rhythmic and melodic happiness with us wherever we go.To learn more about Le Bon Truc, visit their website.
