Community Taiji
To begin on Sunday Feb. 8th
at UUCC in the Fellowship Hall
Please Join Us!
Community Taiji practice will begin with meditative and easy-to-follow qi gong exercises, followed by some basic instruction in a Yang style taiji form. Group facilitator, Karen Allen, first learned a medium length taiji form with David Spahr and more recently studied a long Yang style form with Priyadarshi George. Others who have studied with Priyadarshi may assist with instruction. There will be an opportunity to practice the full form the end of the hour. All are welcome regardless of experience. This program will begin on February 8th.

EXCITING EXPERIMENT FOR DONATION BINS LOCATION!
Currently, the location for the AUGUSTA FOOD BANK, ESSENTIAL PANTRY, OVERNIGHT SHELTER, and the UNITED COMMUNITY LIVING CENTER /UCLC) bins are in the coat room. For better visibility and convenience for our community we are moving the three bins with signage to the bench in the foyer. Since each donation facility requests specific donation categories, an item list is posted above each bin.
Check out our brightly colored bins and thank you for your contributions!

This 90 minute interactive experience explores how queer clergy navigate the spiritual, political, and relational polarities shaping today's congregational life, especially the tensions between innovation & tradition and us and them.
Drawing from the cohort's journey, we will share embodied queer wisdom, polarity management tools, through a crucial conversations framing with guided listening practices that support faith leaders in staying grounded in their "why" while ministering in divisive times.
It has been an honor for Rev. Donna Dolham, she, her to take part in this cohort learning and she is excited to share some of this with you.
