As a life- long UU and a clinical social worker, it was an easy fit for me to become the SGM Coordinator when the position was created. My primary responsibilities are to connect interested people with groups, support ongoing groups, and recruit and train facilitators for new groups. I work with the SGM Steering committee and the Minister to see that this ministry is meeting the needs of the congregation as well as the members of the groups. I believe that Small Group Ministry has a profound impact on our community, giving us a strong foundation as we go forward as a religious home for our diverse membership.
