A variety of social events are planned for the congregation throughout the year, such as:
- Elder Luncheons are the second Sunday of the month after second Service, organized by fabulous cooks. “Elder” is self-defined.
- Special socializing around food: Harvest Supper in November, Christmas buffet following the Sunday Christmas service.
- Activity-oriented events: Kayaking and canoeing, hiking, swimming, dancing.
- Game nights.
- Entertainment: Cabaret, Folk or Jazz concerts, Poetry contests, Talent Night.
- Discussions and informal talks.
Events are suggested and planned by members of the congregation, coordinated by the Social Activities Committee. We urge all ages to participate. Childcare may be available for some events.
