The UUCC Session Plans have been developed over the years by the minister, by individuals within the congregation, and by a Topics Committee. The number by some of the titles is the date that Session Plan was distributed to UUCC groups. Titles without dates were distributed prior to October 2011, when the collection of plans was put onto the website. Usual distribution of Session Plans is now via the website.

The directory, UUCC Small Group Ministry Session Plans, is designed so that you can select by Title or by Topic. Session Plans that do not have a Topic listed are general. We may add other Topics and the directory continues to build.

Some of these session plans have been published by UUCC or are included with permission in other publications. Some have been submitted to the UU Small Group Ministry Network website (www.smallgroupministry.net), and this collection will be on that site.

The listings may be sorted by title, topic, and year by clicking on the associated header.

Get Involved

• Propose Session Plan titles and/or write a plan yourself. Guidelines for writing Session Plans are available from the Topics Committee.
• Discuss Session Plans that you or your  group have created with the Small Group Ministry (SGM) Topics Committee. This gives another view of how a session might be understood by a wider audience.
• You are welcome to use of the Session Plans on this website within UUCC. A Session Plan may be used beyond UUCC with acknowledgement to Unitarian Universalist Church, Augusta, Maine.
