Goddess Continuing focuses on earth-centered traditions. Join us, usually the First and Third Sundays of the month, 12:15-2:00pm for study and celebration. This year we are:
Continuing Women of Wisdom, with a focus on Croning. We will hold an open session about celebrating Women of Wisdom, followed by a Croning ceremony. Women of all ages are invited to participate, to be croned themselves and/or to witness the acknowledgement of older women in the congregation.
Celebrating the holy days in the earth cycle calendar. We may offer these ourselves or work with others in the congregation. Sometimes these celebrations are part of the Sunday worship service, and other times they are held following the Second Service or at other designated times. Everyone is welcome, including all ages. We include singing, movement, use of instruments (including drumming), stories and poems.
Engaging the Goddesses through reflection, activities, and rituals. For more information and a schedule of the goddesses being studied see the Flaming Chalice. We are considering using Small Group Ministry format as we go deeper in engaging the Goddess on our spiritual journeys. This group is open to older youth, men and women.
