The UUCC Website invites people who are searching for information about Unitarian Universalist connection in the Augusta area to come and see what we have to offer. The website also provides a communication network for people who are already involved with UUCC.
We are attempting to:
- Capture the diversity of our ministries and programs and celebrate all that we have to offer.
- Encourage involvement in congregational life at all levels – relational, worship, social justice, learning, leadership.
- Provide a resource that encourages collaboration among all parts of the congregational structure.
The information on this website is written by those involved with the respective parts, and/or taken from UUCC publications, including the Program Book and the Operations Manual; and files.
Following privacy and Safe Congregation practices, we conservative in giving contact information
- We have given names of contacts without other information when we have an individual’s permission to include the name. The exception is for UUCC staff, where name, e-mail and phone number may be listed. Additional contact information may be available in the church Directory for members. Request for that information can also be made through info@augustauu.org and will be forwarded to the individual.
- Photos of activities involving people will not include identifying information, unless permission is specifically given by the person.
Get Involved:
Use the website and let the Committee and Administrator know how it works for you. While we may not be able to accommodate all suggestions, we would like to make it as user-friendly and comprehensive as possible and feasible.
We need pictures for the website. We are declaring this as the “Year of the Pictures!”
When you take pictures that include people, please get signed permission for us to use the pictures on the website.
Please identify the event, with date and location, and the names of people in the photo. This is both for the website and for our history.
